In
the 1960s Ernest Ruckle authorized photo-offset reproductions
to be made of five of his works. These were almost exactly the
same size as the originals and have sometimes been confused
with the originals. The reproductions have no value as artworks, but may have some value as collector's items or decorations.
"You
are Lucifer Come to Get Faust"
(Opus
197, 1964) Some of the reproductions are signed in pencil at the
bottom. The original is signed in ink in the upper right. The
reproductions are on thin card paper. The original is on Strathmore plate-surface bristol board.

"The

(Opus 326, 1969) After completing the drawing
in ink, the Artist added a Letraset dot pattern to the background.
The drawing was
then photographed for black-and-white reproduction. Finally, the
Artist removed the Letraset and colored the original. The original
is signed in paint, lower right. Some of the reproductions are
signed in pencil at the bottom. Image of original.
